Santana - "Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen" Live in Santo Domingo 1982 Video. Santana the band has roots that branches off to Malo and Abraxas. In common this is a fusion of Afro-Carribean with Latin rock/acid jazz. Santana could of been asked to perform for the Dirty Harry soundtrack in 1970 ,but in reality Lalo Schifrin composed the groovy jazz fusion style for that film. Either this version or the Royal Albert Hall '71 version,this song projects a sense of happiness to me,as it is good to know you're feeling better.

Lion - "Powerlove" Video. Lion is the hard rock/glam metal band that brought the 1987 Transformers movie theme with the same title,if you just like myself do remember growing up in the 1980's. Lions biggest U.S. album was the "Dangerous Attraction" LP that was released in '87,and has and is currently OOP-Out-of-print. A Japanese re-release of Dangerous is re-issued that contains a bonus track "Transformers"

I've read books and researched on James Douglas Morrison several years ago,and the 1991 Oliver Stone film "THE DOORS" doesn't defend the true Jim. For entertainment value...this movie was such a wild ride and blows... anyone who actually believes what they witnessed in this film,entirely,then may I recommend on literature: "Light My Fire" written by Ray Mazereck,"Riders On The Storm" by John Densmore,"No One Here Gets Out Alive" by Danny Sugerman&Jerry Hopkins. Also read my July 3rd blog. Just ignore the worst musicians of all time--the media such as the TODAY show and the T.V. tabloid EXTRA and ET(the same people who think they know about music and advising you what is great)
