"I am looking for things that are unlikely. Rhythmic events that are unlikely. Melodic events that are unlikely. You've already heard all of the good licks that all the good players play. You've already heard every pentatonic and chromatic scales there ever were. You've heard the Aeolian mode played with a muted palm of the hand. You have heard all the clean and accurate playing, and all the nice bent notes. You have heard it all. I don't give a shit about that stuff. I want to play what's on my mind." - Frank Zappa
Sleeprunner, born in the late summer of 2005, has gone through a few line up changes only to rest with the current 3 good friends. Each member shares the same passion and respect for the music that we listen to and create. We've been influenced by every musician, band, artist, etc., be it good or bad, hard and heavy or soft and delicate, serious and urgent or comical and unexplicable. We attempt to translate our lives, perceptions, thoughts, and emotions through a few instruments, electronics, and microphones.
Where this would seem the time and place to woo you, the reader, with enticing metaphors and worn out adjectives about our music and us individually, we'd prefer to leave the thesaurus hunting duties to the press. Without sounding pretentious, we hope listeners will have an open mind and an interest to hear something a little different.

Sleeprunner, pleased to see that things are flowing for you all.
Believe it or not I finally updated my site. Honest! With about one hour of new music and videos, including a 15 year old guitar wizard Michael Vincent and Doubleshot Blues Band. Amazing! Also a concert video from one of the Boston area’s best young singer-songwriters Casey Desmond. A couple of treasures from Jon Butcher and Barefoot Servants. A very rare Joan Jett and The Blackhearts video and the classic Ramones. Check out a special documentary film and video clip from Charlie Farren and Farrenheit. And last but not least some classic comedy. Thanks once again for having me as a friend. I hope you enjoy my site as much as I always enjoy visiting here.

Thank you for supporting the music of small girls named Liana Stillman. For you, I give two thumbs up, a radio that only plays oldies but it's a radio from the future so it actually plays songs that you wouldn't otherwise be able to hear for years to come, and a hug.
SLEEPRUNNER. Thanks for adding Record Scout the .. site for unsigned bands and artists. We look forward to receiving your material to be played on a future podcast. On our website you can now set-up your own profile page and showcase your music gaining valuable exposure. We are currently looking for a new A List .. to present to the major labels out there.
