Sleepshow formed from the wreckage of previous outfit Skyfalls in mid 2004. Finding themselves surrounded by a stagnant scene where carbon copy bands imitated the next big thing, the band made its first steps with one intention – to make music they loved.
Fusing influences ranging from Refused to The Beatles, through to Norma Jean and Deftones, Sleepshow have carved their own unique sound out of the hardcore scene, complimented with an energetic live performance. The band recorded their debut E.P, “Oh, How I Loathe Those Little Slices Of Death” in 2005 with up-and-coming producer Jonny Renshaw (Devil Sold His Soul, Fireapple Red) at Bandit Studios which was received with open arms by their fans, marking them out to be one of the most promising young bands in their area.
2006 saw the band playing more shows, improving their live performance and then in the autumn going back into the studio to record their second E.P “Tales From A Ghost Town”. Now with the release of this CD imminent and more shows and a festival booked for the coming months, 2007 is going to be a year not to take your eyes off of Sleepshow.
