Sleep Tight Company is the new full bodied, full flavored version of the dynamic duo known as Spransy & Kolb.
Featuring ex/current members of El Oso, Those Royals, Meteah Strike, John the Savage and Crime & Judy
In a nutshell, we have conned a couple of our friends into playing with us and are now a full fledged band, thus Sleep Tight Co. is born.
When Cathy isn't busy teaching kids how to play violin, Aaron isn't busy drinking schmancy coffee drinks, Bob isn't eating cake or collecting hang tags and Andrew isn't too occupied patting the sides of kittens or dogs we all like to hang out and write fun, pop songs.
Sleep Tight Co. began with the song "You're an Orange Soda".
I was recording a song with my pal Al Boyes at his recording studio Transit Recording and I thought some violins might sound nice with the song. So, I called up violinist extrodinaire, long time chum, Cathy Kolb to add some sweeting. She wrote a couple parts, laid down song fat tracks and it turned out great. We then played some casual shows together, learned some questionable covers and wrote some more songs.
After a while we wanted to try to record some more songs and thought "hmm, these songs would sound good with some drums and bass." Some casual invitations were made and Bob Gaszak, and Andrew Hartzell entered the picture. A few practices turned into a weekly thing, which turned into some shows and finally an actual band. Many months and lists (thanks Brent) later we have settled into the name Sleep Tight Co.
thats it. we have fun.

Hey guys, just writing this to you to let you know we are signed up for the Briggs and Stratton battle of the bands, and we need your help! Its all based on votes, and we've entered extremely late! If we want a chance to win we need everyone's help! If you're interested, here's how you can vote for us,
All you have to do is go to www.myspace.com/briggsbattleofthebands search for or type in "Lost In A Name" and click vote! You'll have to enter an e-mail address, but you can vote with the same e-mail address 10 times every day! You can also use an additional e-mail address and vote up to 20 times a day.
We're really behind all the other bands since we entered so late. It really only takes about 45 seconds to vote, so if you are bored and have a spare minute, we'd really appreciate your help! Thanks so much guys,
You guys were great at the Exclusive Company on Saturday! I didn't even miss the keyboard. Can't wait to hear you again. I'll be the one smiling at Bob the whole time! Take care!
