Influences
One day, you will have a dream where you will find yourself sitting in a Victorian-era room filled with modern bachelor pad furniture. Here you will then begin to have a spiced macadamia chai tea with Bill Clinton and Kublai Khan discussing irrelevant issues such as why the world does not use the word 'gallivanting' or 'horseplay' anymore. Then you will suddenly get the cliche falling down dream sequence and wake up 9:23pm in the evening. You will then ponder for a good 2-7 seconds on what you just experienced before the feeling of hunger will overcome you and then... you will have dinner. Oh yes that almighty garlic steak dinner. Yes.
Sounds Like
What if you lie down, sleep, then dream of land filled with cotton candy-ish twisty knob-like clouds, flowing water with stuttering dams to control them along with the occasional waterfalls, a land inhabited by tons of fuzzy-wuzzy bears, robots, dancing kings, queens and jesters, all living in one giant echoing plain? What would be the music to that dream? Like our music you say? Personally I wouldn't know, but that does sound like one awesome dream!
Sleepwalk Circus (Sl-eep-wo-k-sir-kus or SC in short)
"Sleepwalk Circus is an effects and often crescendo centric band with the name deriving from a played-with metaphor and definition that "living is best done with one's eyes closed."
Their music is occasionally called a "Frankenstein of musical genres that surprisingly works." Audiences have called it many different things. These include Alternative, Post Rock, Shoe-gaze, Nu-gaze, Dream-pop, Math Rock and so on.
Whatever 'genre' flag SC seem to be hoisting on top of their tents, rest assured once you shut your eyes and allow your ears inside it, you will be immerse into SC's own little world. A world where their lights hold you in a trance while the walls of sound batter, flow and seep into you. This experience will leave you with a feeling of what it is like to truly have your eyes closed." - MB

Robert: Listening?! I was not just listening! I was driven into a trance by those shoegaze harmonies and melodies! I was psyched because I wasn't expecting a band which plays music like you guys - the crowd was a bitch but you even had the audacity for an instrumental, and an awesome one to boot! I hope to see you again!
Robbie: Robert's really into shoegaze and dream pop - he even thought that Skies of Ember was the only shoegaze outfit here in this country, until last Saturday night. xD
