Sleepy Old Town
14 Beautiful Award Winning Lullabies and Children's Songs ...
Straight from the Heart ... From Our Family to Yours
Sleepy Old Town is enchanting and extraordinarily soothing. This award winning CD of 14 original lullabies and children's songs focuses on the emotional desire for a safer, more loving, reassuring world for children everywhere. It has been lovingly made with an all real orchestra! (Not one synth.) - Including strings, grand piano, great harp, oboe, bassoon, flute and more! Sleepy Old Town appeals to children and their parents. To paraphrase Mark Twains preface to Tom Sawyer: Although these songs are intended mainly for boys and girls, we hope they will not be shunned by men and women on that account, for part of our plan has been to try pleasantly to remind adults of what they once were themselves, and of how they felt and thought and talked. This describes perfectly what it is about the best lullabies, the best children's songs and the best children's stories that make them relevant and popular throughout successive generations. All the songs on this CD were written and performed by Steve Stapley and Lynda Hayes, who are married with two children.

Peace is not the product of terror or fear. Peace is not the silence of cemeteries. Peace is not the silent result of violent repression. Peace is the generous, tranquil contribution of all to the good of all. Peace is dynamism. Peace is generosity. It is a right and duty. In it each one has a place in this beautiful family, which the Epiphany brightens for us with God's light. - Father C, Romero 8 February 1978
Many of you, my dear friends, have asked me how JJ is doing. I'm caring for him like a sick child nearly 24 hours a day. I don't get much sleep (I'm not complaining) these days so I often forget to get back to you as I have limited computer time as well. It's not that I don't read your messages or think about what wonderful friends God has blessed me with. I truly enjoy hearing from you and love getting messages, comments and emails. I do want you to know that if I don't reply right away I will as soon as I get a chance. I love each of you dearly and thank you so much for everything. We need many, many prayers for JJ. Prayers were answered for Winston (and continue to be) and without you I don't know if he'd be here with us today. I have put up a web page on Winston's site for JJ. This will make it easier if you would like to check in on JJ. I will continue to update this page. I invite you to visit it as well as our regular updates page. Here is the link:
I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.
