K.Mitch announces new album Los Angeles, CA – Hip-hop artist K.Mitch has revealed exciting news of the highly anticipated new album “True Testimony,” a sucker punch to the unprepared. The album will deliver to the public K.Mitch’s galvanizing, hard groove brand of hip-hop. “True Testimony” will indeed be a testimony – to the kind of power hip-hop can wield in the right hands. K.Mitch’s lyrical bravado, poetic flow of vocal delivery and mastery of beat construction result in startlingly refreshing, honest music laced with killer hooks. That this athletic college student finds time to both make good marks and make good music is rather surprising. Both school and the writing/recording process are demanding for a person and it’s a testament to K.Mitch’s dedication that he finds the time and energy to do both successfully. “Music is a passion of mine that I can’t live without,” K.Mitch explains. “Music has given me a positive escape for the expression of my feelings and emotions.” Much of the drive for his musical enthusiasm and lyrical motivation – and his need to succeed – comes from family. “My grandmother, my mom and my dad influence me to see what they went through and what they put me through influences me to make it to the top and be successful.” To support the release of his new album, K.Mitch is planning a nationwide tour and eyeing the possibility of taking his music overseas. Go up I-45 N and you will run into OT. A neighborhood on the outskirts of the city filled wit ball players or crackseller. Turn onto the 2700 block of Branch rd or what we call B Block and there resides Kelvin Rashad Mitchell. His pops was a hustla and his mom was the same which made K Mitch a son of the streets. In his hood its either you hustle or you hoop, kelvin chose the basketball route and decided to let the rock get him out the hood. In 6th grade he started rhyming influenced by the down souf version of freestyles "Mann!!" As he expanded his range of music he became intrigued by eastcoast music and artist such as Jay-Z, Juelz Santana, Hell Rell, Fabolous, Cassidy and many others and he decide to form his style by using east coast lingo wit a southern twist. While in high school K Mitch widen his vocabulary and became known for his punchlines and vivid stories in his songs. 3 years on varsity at Spring High School led him to the Air Force Academy Prep where he was on a full scholarship. After the basketball season he left because that kind of lifestyle wasnt him. Which led him to Denver University on a scholarship and utimately hooking up wit AP and Wazdown Records. Through his many trials and tribulations wit his parents in and outta jail, hustling, and living with his grandmother you can hear the pain and emotion in his lyrics and the substance he brings with each and every verse. E.B. at work on new album Los Angeles, CA – Hip-hop artist E.B. has announced work is in progress on two new albums, this announcement coming right on the heels of his debut release, “Church Raised But Street Made.” Set to introduce listeners to E.B.’s lively sound is the leading single, “Let Me Be Me,” a song whose theme is ideally suited to E.B.’s singular blend of flavors and his individualistic musical aesthetic. It makes sense for such an artist – music is a constant presence for E.B. The songs he makes and the music he listens to are constant reflections of where he is at any given moment in his life. “Music is a moodsetter for me,” he says. “However I’m feeling or whatever I’m going through, I listen to music that expresses me at that time.” So what is the mood of “Let Me Be Me?” It’s a potent expression of independence and assertiveness. Big melodies and even bigger beats with out-front ideas expounded upon through an aggressive but in-control vocal performance and lyrics that don’t hold back. E.B. hails from Jacksonville, Arkansas, and is proud who he is, where he comes from and what he thinks. “I’m a down-south rapper,” he says. “I rap about what I go through or have been through, how I plan for things to be in the future and my feelings – basically just life in general.” His raw yet poetic, groove-driven examination of life as it is in all its guts and glory makes his music hard-hitting, brutally honest – and easy for listeners to relate to. “Some consider me a thug, a goon, whatever, but I’m me. This ain’t image. I ain't a wannabe. I’m who I am.” And his rapping about the hard truths so many people understand is done with verve and originality, further commanding the attention of listeners. “While I’m expressing myself, I do it in a way where it pleases me and my listeners’ ears. I go through things a lot of people can feel. I keep it real. And real is what it is.” E.B. has proven his mettle on stage and in the studio, a fact that “Church Raised But Street Made” is proving with evidence to spare and which will further be cemented in listeners’ minds via his upcoming sophomore effort. He also is working on a CD with his hip-hop group Natural State Villains. Faithful to his songwriting philosophy, the title of his debut points straight to his life. “I was raised in the church, involved in the church. But my lifestyle, personality and mentality lead me to this life. I’m not from the hood, I’m from the burbs. But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m a real artist – I’m loyal and I ride for me and mine.” “Church Raised But Street Made” features Balla-T of the Lockboyz, K2 of the Goon Squad, D-Dirt E. from Tho’d Studio Ent., Gutta-B and others.
