SlideAway - This melodic pop rock group has created a signature sound that will no doubt influence the next generation of rock music. With catchy vocal melodies it's no wonder why fans are singing
every word to the songs.
SlideAway is a Los Angeles based band formed by frontman Guitarist/Vocalist Trev Lukather - 22. Trev grew up in the music business being mentored by his father Steve Lukather, legendary guitar
player and frontman of the classic rock group TOTO. Trev was the Musical Director for Lindsay Lohan, and long time friend / former bandmate Krispy Swiggs - 24 - was playing bass for Lindsay's tour / debut album SPEAK off Universal Records. Shortly after the Lindsay gig, Trev and Krispy were offered other high profiled gigs with major acts, but respectfully declined so they could focus on their own project as a band. Jake Hayden - 24 - is a drummer who is a graduate from Berkley School of Music, who at 19, replaced world renowned drummer Terri Bozzio in the 80s pop band MISSING PERSONS. Jake had heard of Trev's upcoming project through the music community and immediately wanted to jump on board. The songs were coming together, but it was agreed that there was an element missing. It wasn't long before a young talent who was constantly busy with sessions finally pieced the puzzle. Evan Hillhouse - 21 - started playing keys with the band and helped add to the signature sound. After nearly a couple months of rehearsals, SlideAway had more than a full set of songs. Family friend / producer Tom Fletcher came in to a rehearsal and was blown away by how quickly the band had developed and come together saying, "It was as if they had been playing together for years." Tom immediately wanted to start production with this project and within a week the band was in the studio. Individually, SlideAway has played arenas, TV shows, and done session work with many artists, both well known and up and coming. It's no wonder SlideAway has endorsements with Ernie Ball Music
Man, EMG Pickups, and Vator.
Recently, Trev has written for Atlantic Records rock band HALESTORM, which debuted as the 5 rock album in the country. The song Love/Hate Heartbreak, which Trev
wrote for HALESTORM, will be a featured single and music video on iTunes in November.

Hey guys, thanks for the add. I'm more into metal and heavier music but I think you guys are great! :) My boyfriend is in a band and they're finally getting their name out there! It upsets me when people aren't open to different genres of music and basically talk down on genres they don't normally listen to, so I'm open to anything! I think you guys are great! Keep the music coming :)
