My name is Forest Marie (don't laugh) -- OK, it is kind of an odd name, so take a chuckle or two...

I'm married to my college sweetheart Julie and reside in Denham Springs, LA.

The Intro

I’m a professional software engineer/Web Developer and more interestingly, a Network and Internet Marketing Specialist with thousands of students from the USA down to the Philippines including successful Network and Internet Marketers, business owners, school principals, professional salesmen, work at home moms, and many other types of people from various backgrounds.

Through my collaborations, I have helped individuals make their first dollar online – many times without picking up the telephone.

But here’s an interesting stat you need to consider:

97% of people entering the home business arena whether it be MLM or direct sales and marketing will fail to make more money than they spend and typically quit within three months.

Two years ago, I was definitely feeling that pain and almost quit myself. I once heard billionaire Art Williams say "Almost everybody in America almost gets there..."

So here my situation ... I was investing $300-$500 every month but seeing very little return and the person I was becoming wasn't obvious to me at that time so ...

Frustration began to set in! But I told myself I was in an industry I really knew very little about and one they do not really teach in school.

The Crossroad

I was at a serious crossroad and wondering how my story would continue. I, like many, wondered if I should quit and continue working as a software engineer the rest of my life with no backup plan and more importantly with my money not working for me (which is sad). Or should I hang around and figure out how to make good money from the comfort of my home.

IMAGINE making thousands part-time from home and taking a 5 second commute from the bedroom to your home office! Yeah, that's the lifestyle that I keep in my mind and heart always.

Network Marketing is a very strange business. It's a dog-eat-dog industry many times with little support...

Speaking of support, I asked my mentors in business for advice and was told (again!) to make a list of my friends and family and just “show them the plan.” Well, that did not sound like an approach a real professional marketer should do, so I didn’t do it...

And I still never have.

I did, however, do one “home party” and that never felt natural either. And no one signed up.

Finally, I purchased newspaper ads and that results in some success (hey at least a few hundred was made!), but it was not the type of return on investment I was looking for. The return on investment was negative and that's usually never good...

My upline offered no support here and said “I” was the problem (this was true - when you're an entrepreneur, you must hold yourself accountable) because the “system” was completely “duplicatable,” even for a 5th grader...

Walking The Road Solo

In the end, all this did was cause separation between me and my upline. I refused to play by their “duplicatable,” old school and ineffective rules. I wondered and then later discovered the keys to the "game."

The World Wide Web Journey

So, refusing to fail, I moved my focus to Internet Marketing (another dog-eat-dog industry) and started looking for a way to market online (heck, I'm a tech geek so why not I said). And this became a very interesting search as I discovered within ten minutes that there is A LOT of BS online! The Internet is FULL OF GARBAGE.

IMAGINE all the garbage out there and all the empty promises and bullshit claims ...

I couldn’t tell you how many times I saw ridiculous claims and “opportunities” with NO product or service being moved. It just seemed like what I call “money tag.” You can call them scams.

The ads, however, were very impressive and stimulating. They made it sound like you give them $100 and get $1000 back without doing a thing. Now that's a game most people would always play even if they didn't have a $100. They would definitely find it for sure.

You can say the ads displayed what I call "Hypnotic Writing." It just feels so addicting IF you take it at face value...

But all of these “opportunities” like this were no older than a year. More than 90% of them had no phone number to call or address. Indeed, the red flags were raised.

And their Web Sites all looked like they were put together by someone who was developing their very first Web Site.

Seeking People Who Had Proven Solutions

But I continued looking, learning and reading more about Internet Marketing. I started to converse with leaders who were building successful enterprises online. I looked at their Web Sites and their blogs.

I paid attention to where they were hanging out online and where they were – and more importantly HOW – they generating prospects, getting customers and enrolling business partners into their enterprises.

For months, like a machine I absorbed what successful Internet Marketers were doing online.

When they wrote a blog, I read it. When they put out an e-book, I read it.

When they recommended a tool or a resource, I invested in it without hesitation.

After about six weeks of following their lead and duplicating their tactics, I was starting to “get it.”

Those "AH HA" moments began to set in.

A Real Dream Come True

I was even making money online while I slept. And that was an amazing damn feeling although it kind of scared the shit out of me the first time it happened ...

Why? Because we're programmed to believe we MUST "trade time" for "dollars." And if never encounter a different way ... well ... you probably will never know and live your life wondering how you can create your own underdog success story.

The Discovery

One day - I can't remember when exactly - it just hit me the way falling in love hits you. It was crystal clear ... I understood “the inner game” of both Network and Internet Marketing.

Great things started to happen…

I had money coming in all the time.

I had people seeking me out asking for my advice (some serious, and many just "curious"). I have even had people call me and simply say: “I will invest in whatever you tell me to. Just show me the way. I believe in you.”

I discovered “the game” was entirely different when the other person contacts you first. I was perceived as a consultant and a serious problem solver (and that's what I do - solve money problems) instead of a peddling salesman (yuck!).

I become the hunted instead of the hunter.

Going Through The Process

The persistence paid off and I began to believe in myself and in Network and Internet Marketing. I knew that I can really help people and show them how they can really be set free in this industry IF and ONLY IF they were willing to go through what I call the "process."

The "process" is like going back to school and reprogramming your mind on some different philosophies about life and money ...

At this point in my "process," talking to people was fun and enjoyable because I actually got to talk to people hungry to make money and people who were seeking me out.

With this approach, it was rare that I talked to individuals with a “something for nothing” mindset.

And if I did, I was quick to shut them down and close communication channels with them ...

Throughout all my conversations, I got to know many great people. Most of them had spent a lot of money on opportunities and came up very short.

I always asked them what they felt it took to really make money from the comfort of their home. Their answers were scattered all over, but one thing was obviously painful for most people and it may be painful for you too ...

Most people NEVER learned to develop the mindset of an entrepreneur and they never learned how to market or what marketing really was (two major strikes that 99.99% guarantee you will fail in free enterprise)

Can you imagine how hard business is without knowing how to market it or think like an entrepreneur? At best, it's asking a high school basketball player to suit up and play professional football ...

It's just two different worlds ...
