FRENCH
Né en 2007 du côté de Besançon, Slide on Venus* écume rapidement les scènes de sa Franche-Comté natale avant de passer par la case studio, histoire de distiller sa power-pop "hi-energy" sur les platines CD et non plus exclusivement en live. Il en ressortira 6 titres, composant "Pixel", un EP inaugural qui voit le jour en 2008. Il sera suivit un an plus tard d'un second EP "David Bowie was right...", puis de "Put music to your troubles" courant 2010.
Après 3 EPs, une centaine de concerts au compteur, un passage à l'Olympia et une exposition croissante, Slide on Venus* passe à l'étape suivante en 2011, enregistrant un premier album "Topless", qui voit le jour aux premières lueurs du printemps 2012 via SOVStar/Interscope/Domino Media Group/Brlu Note.
Soit une belle dizaine de titres fuselés, qui entre power-pop incandescente et indie-rock rageur renvoient aux Biffy Clyro et autres Foo Fighters tout en conservant une "french touch" des plus animales.

Born in 2007 in Besançon, France, Slide on Venus* quickly hit many stages before going to the studio to bring to our speakers their "high energy power rock". The release of their debut EP "Pixel" happened in 2008 and was followed the next year by a second EP called "David Bowie was right..." and followed again by a third one, "Put music to your troubles" in 2010.
After 3 EPs, almost 100 shows and a serious increase of audience and medias interest, the four frenchies from Slide on Venus* recorded their first album "Topless" which is released on Spring 2012 on SOVStar/Interscope/Domino Media Group/Brlu Note.
The result is eleven definitely rock tracks, between burning power pop and devastating indie-rock which reminds of Biffy Clyro and Foo Fighters but with a unique french touch.
