NEW! *david papapostolou: electronic devices *daniel jones: mixer, turntable, objects *paul khimasia morgan: sampler, wind chimes, objects Improvisations recorded upon first meeting of DP, DJ & PKM in one pass on Saturday the 19th of January 2008 at MezzalunaStudio, Brighton UK. ___________________________________________________________ AVAILABLE NOW!!! After nearly 3 years of work comes the first collaboration between Adam Lygo and Euphonious Murmur Blend. Titled EARTH, (part sonic description of the earth's spheres, part reference, although not homage, to Dylan Carlson's heavy drone), this full length drone loop / guitar destruction album breaks new ground for each musician. EMB's Terry Riley-esque obsession with minimal longform sound deterioration and Keith Rowe style "hands off" approach to guitar sounding merges with Adam Lygo's subterranean digital noise loops. 7 tracks of deep strata excavations with a bonus live track for this edition only. The packaging design consists of striking full colour satellite imagery with 3 art cards and contrasting on-body print. At last its here! Very limited run of this edition so contact us now to secure your copy. Six pounds only. ______________________________________________________________ DANIEL JONES / PAUL KHIMASIA MORGAN cd edition of 50. now sold out ______________________________________________________________ “The Brighton-based label The Slightly Off Kilter Label is owned by Paul Khimasia Morgan, who sent a couple of seven-inches and two CDRs. At least one of them (I’m Magic - Gimme a Fiver, sok010) by Yeborobo somehow exudes the kind of absurdist zanery that Volcano The Bear would like to think they’ve cornered the market in. Yeborobo seem to be a musical theatre spin-off from something called The Mentalist Association, and the sleeve art to this vinyl monstrosity is electrically charged with intense garish fibre-tip doodles and collage actions that provide a rough-edged window into the inner workings of mental dementia. Expecting an improvement on Trumans Water-styled gibberish from these grooves. Also of likely interest is a CDR by A Middle Sex called Look! (sok017), a perplexing artefact yielding nine cuts by a mystery duo from Manchester; they use live electronics, amplified vocals and a drum kit, hopefully delivering a much-downgraded and distorted version of Silver Apples. The cover art combines crude collage with primary-school painting and promises much in the area of simplistic yet sophisticated joyful noise. Also from this label: the Scythe EP (sok009) by Bela Emerson who saws on her cello and enhances the results with electronic processing; a stark drawing of a dandelion on the cover probably expresses her sense of fragility and aloneness in the cruel world.” - ED PINSENT, The Sound Projector ___________________________________________________________ THE SURLY BONDS OF EARTH self-titled album featuring a single real time studio improvisation "NEON TOLEX" in excess of 60 minutes in duration available now for £5 incl. p&p A MIDDLE SEX new album called "Look!" now SOLD OUT.

Slasher Risk

Slasher Risk are a boy/girl duo from Brooklyn, NY. Part brain dead beast, part mermaid. Desolate, metallic wrong-side-of-the-track atmospheres, kraut/garage jams and on their new LP ' Triple Jesus', zoned out, beautiful dueling psych guitar in the vein of Charalambides/Tom Carter project stuff.
BZZZ!

Temperatures

Another duo, this time from London. Totally incredible merge of free drumming, weirdo bass and vocal, hell hole abyss/Skynet electronic landscapes and serious WTF rhythmic jams. Hard to pin. In the words of musical grandad Thurston Moore on their LP 'Ymir' - "just play the fucking record and that's all the information you need".

Beach Fuzz

Levitation act courtesy of Nick Mitchell, Barry Dean and Tom Settle. Reaching an apex in the mind of the third ear via tribal drumming, guitar blowouts, organ drones and monged vocal magic ascension. Something of Boredoms and Skaters, but for sure - They are Beach Fuzz. Releases on Lotus Birth and Golden Lab.

Trinity

Enter the world of candle lit basement meetings, alien existance, pentagrams, secret handshakes and ouija board action. Are these 6 men the Free Masons of psych rock? Ash Ra Tempel/Circle face melts, walls of drone and terrifyingly, the ghost of Luciano Pavarotti.

A Middle Sex

Neither Nor. Out of the jungles of M19 comes chamelion drumming, schizophrenic guitar moves, abused electronics/vocals and 'Heathen Earth' era Throbbing Gristle atmospheres. Releases of Blackest Rainbow and Slightly Off Kilter. New shiz soon.
