Slim and the Deuces is Dave (Slim) Harris (guitar/harp/vocals), Greg Kennedy (bass/vocals), John Hunter (drums/vocals), and when in town Don "Dr.Boogie" Yuzwenko (piano/vocals).
They have been part of the Canadian blues scene since the early 70's. They love this stuff. Collectively, they had the good fortune to backup many of the greats (John Lee Hooker, Pinetop Perkins, Sunnyland Slim, Albert Collins, Luther Tucker, Homesick James, James Cotton, Freddie Roulette, King Biscuit Boy, Johnny V, Bill Johnson, Harpdog Brown). Slim is also a legendary Victoria busker who plays a multitude of instruments in his own one man show.
In 2008 the band released it's first CD "Live at the Blues Underground" which these tracks are taken. Thanks for your interest and support. Enjoy.
