Slim Contact is borne out of neccessity, boredom and the desire to express what is inexpressible in the daily life of Scott Mclain. The name expresses the fact that we have such "Slim" contact or understanding of the world around us, barely connecting to God, our fellow man, and even ourselves in many respects. Life is hard to live, much less understand. Songs are how I work things out. Though the recordings themselves at this point are very lo-fi and unprofessional, there is a bit of character in them that is hard to miss upon repeated listens. I am a fan of the songs, and believe what they say. Often I don't even know where they come from.

Hey! Merry Christmas! I hope Santa was good to you. He was fairly good to me even though my behavior has vascillated this year at times!
I start the long drive to Scotland tomorrow to start the UK tour.......i hope i don't freeze my butt off!
