About me: My name is Sara, I am a mother of two, (Nicholas-7 and Katie-3), and adoring wife to Stephen since 1999. I own two companies in Seattle, WA, USA--- Slinglings Baby Slings LLC manufactures baby slings .
I coined the term primal mothering with the birth of my firstborn in 1986 and I designed the first sling-type carrier to accommodate my daughter's need to be held all the time.
Alone and determined in a society that trains women to leave their babies to cry, I wanted to share the joys and convenience of baby wearing, breastfeeding, and the family bed with other women who felt the same as me.
As my daughter grew I learned even more about this path of primal mothering as my maternal soul chose to protect her from the dangers of vaccines, ensure family togetherness through home education, and honor her desire to become a primal mom when she was in her teens.
I passed on the knowledge of primal mothering to her and picked up the banner of primal grammahood, meaning that I am here for my daughter and grandchildren...may the circle be unbroken.
