_____ From Yeehaw Junction Florida Slip and the Spinouts are THE ONLY Rockabilly band in the Tri-County area. Formed 8 years ago, Slip and the Spinouts are an old school 3 piece band with upright bass, Hollowbody guitar {and sometimes a Tele} and a small combo drum kit.
The Spinouts play original Rockabilly and Country songs and cover a wide range of American Roots Music including Rockabilly, Country, Blues and even Surf. Spinouts have 3 hours of material with over 75 songs.
Spinouts play all types of events from weekly gigs at local bars to large concerts, festivals, Daytona Bike Week and even weddings. and even VEGAS BABY!!,,,,yep Slip and the Spinouts were selected to play Viva Las Vegas 11 2008,,,,,,Yeehaw!!!! Had a great time. They even had one of their songs picked for the VLV compilation C.D. which was a nice surprise.
Slip and the Spinouts have been recently featured in New Times Magazine, We Merge Talent magazine and also have had articles in the Palm Beach Post, Sun-Sentinel and Hot House Florida jazz and Blues magazine.
