Shae Baker a.k.a Octane merged onto the music scene in the seventh grade and has stayed consecutive throughout his career when he entered high school as a freshman. He would get into battle competitions at sporting events with large crowds around and the same at local partys making a name for himself throughout the Tucson hip-hop scene as a growing artist. Octane has become versatile and catchy with punchlines, and has opened up for lots of artist already in the industry as well as throwing his own shows. Aaron Steven Cooper A.K.A BIG AC as a young boy watched the soulful choir at his church perform their selections every Sunday and this gave him a sense of direction, and hope for his life. He realized the passion he had for music and decided to pursue a career in the music industry. His song writing skills were unique utilizing slick creative metaphors, and lyrics that appeal to a younger and older audience.
With a crunk energetic performance with a southern flare, he can rock any crowd. His single on his mix tape Total Hits Vol: 1, a remix of Pretty Ricky Grind on me, received Island wide attention, causing the request lines of the radio stations to experience continuous buzz at a frequent rate. BIG AC has performed amongst some of the hottest acts ever to hit center stage such as Ludacris, 50 Cent, Lil Bow Wow, Trina, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, Beenie Man, Jah-Rule, Beres Hammond, Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Petey Pablo, and Lady Saw.
He was the opening act for the Trina show held in Nassau at the Crystal Palace Resorts Ballroom where his performance was electrifying. Quint “Smoovey” Wilkerson, was born in Ocala, Fl, but moved to Bradenton, Fl at a young age. Inspired by his older brother, he began to hone and skills and his passion for music. Blessed with charisma and style he began to come into his own artist advance to the point where he was ready to take music seriously. He started a group called MHB, which included himself, Demo and Arthur and began to try to make his mark in the music world. Though they are still tight, he has made the decision to attempt to make it as a solo artist.
His style and his swagger on his tracks make his songs infectious, with energy of lil Boosie and the flow of big timers like lil Wayne, its time that he takes his place as a player in the game!! I grew up in Northeast Philly where I lived with my parents and my two younger sisters. At an early age I was attracted to the hip hop music because of the way music used to be, the way they used to describe stories and how their styles were. I remember walking down the street with my radio listening to NWA, Snoop Dogg, WU-TANG, and many others. I also liked Kris Kross and their catchy songs and their styles. I used to have to clean my cousins room for him to let me listen to his CD’s cause he was also into the hip hop world and lifestyle. I actually looked up to him and wanted to be like him because it seemed like he had everything he wanted. As I grew older I started to love hip hop more. I called myself “ESE” (ease)started to write rhymes, they weren’t the best but it was kinda my psychology to myself to let off what was on my chest. I started getting in trouble in school following the wrong crowd. I began to get high and sell drugs. Money has always been that main drug for me and I could never get enough. I switched schools and started getting deeper into the drug game. My family knew what I was doing, but I didn’t care, cause getting rich mattered more to me than anything. My cousin actually talked to me after he got out of jail cause he eventually got caught selling drugs. He was going through rough times with his family, the streets, and the law. I remember talking to him at a funeral, we were outside smoking a cigarette sitting on the steps, he looked at the ground and than looked at me and said don’t be like me and a tear dropped from his eye. Months later he committed suicide. I never felt so hurt in my life not only did I lose my cousin I lost someone that I looked up to. After he died I calm down a lot and was just working a 9-5 for about 2 years until I was fired from my job. When I got fired it made me realize that I need to get back into my music and make it happen. I started doing shows and recording more. I decided that “ESE” was a dumb name so I changed it to JAE FACT, meaning it’s a fact that I’m going to make it one day. After a show I was talking to a girl that was my friends girls sister who I would eventually get pregnant. That really opened my eyes and made me think that I need to get rich fast. So I got back into the streets and wasn’t writing as much. I was more concentrated on having everything in the world for my daughter. On May 3, 2007 my daughter Jaelynn Marie was born, it was the happiest day of my life. From that day on I told myself I would never let her down. I was still in the streets selling drugs and doing whatever I had to do to get money. Than a year and a half later in Sept 2008 my daughters mother decided she was going to move to Florida and take Jaelynn with her. I went with them but was forced to leave and come back to Philly to my girlfriend in Oct 2008. When I came back I told my girlfriend I was gonna do whatever I had to do to be in Jaelynn’s life. Months later of being back in Philly I felt like something was missing so I started to get back into my music and never looked back. I am now more focused than I have ever been. I’m working on my mixtape called “FACE THE FACTS” and my album called “THE VISIT”. On these projects you will learn why I chose these titles. I am also awaiting on the arrival on another baby girl. Gangsta T is a product of Central Texas. Leaving home at the age of 12 running the streets and hanging out on the blocks of Temple TX showed him a lot on how to make it. Dropping out of school the first month of his ninth grade year. While he was living the street life he saw peers going in and out of prison. Thinking that life in the streets would someday come to an end Gangsta T began and group of friends that he was hustling with he came up with the group Y.A.P (Youngsters about Paper) in December of 99. In 2000 while his group made freestyle tapes older homies that had been incarcerated began to come home. In that same year gangsta caught a possession of a control substance, and one of the group members of YAP caught a murder charge. After getting out of jail and receiving five year probation he began to plot on putting a label together and in 2001 was when Realer than Real Records was created. They formed a group by the name of CIA, after putting a classic album together a couple of the member went back to jail before the album could ever get released. That same year Gangsta release his first cd “Time to Shine.” Still in the streets it wouldn’t be until 2003 before the next cd “Bruising Blocks” was release. In 2006 a dvd called “The come up” was release by gangsta. That was a documentary showing us on the road doing shows and a host of other things. Gangsta hit about twelve states including going to New York and being on the show 106 and Park. After releasing number of Mixtapes and DVDs , putting artist out like TIC, Yoss Makk and a host of others RTR Records is still on the come up and in 2009 is the year that the world need to start hearing about an company that is on the way to put Texas in a place to make more noise in this music game.
