| About Slip Tripman |
Slip Tripman is the ultimate party band. That moniker gets thrown around quite often, but seeing is believing. Slip Tripman’s unique songlist combined with their high energy performances create a party atmosphere like no other. From hip-hop to classic 80’s to alternative rock, Slip Tripman offers a live music experience unbelievable to most listeners. The most heard comment at a Slip Tripman show is, “Man, I can’t believe you guys actually played that. I love that song!” It’s true that Slip Tripman possesses a mastery over any style they tackle, even so far as hip-hop and R&B. Audiences love performances of favorites from artists like Dr. Dre, Outkast, and even Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Slip Tripman never fails to get an audience out of their seats and dancing, especially in party environments. Audiences love to boogie to tunes like “Brick House”, “Love Rollercoaster”, and “Billie Jean”. The level of audience participation is always striking as well, and in many cases the sound of people singing along to familiar favorites like “American Girl” and “Pour Some Sugar On Me” can be overwhelming. Slip Tripman also gets fists pumping with 90’s alternative rock classics like “Possum Kingdom” and “Go”. Whether they’re rocking the house or grooving on some old-school Reggae, Slip Tripman is always ready to put on an energetic, crowd-pleasing show, even if that means traveling. We'll be out all day, with live music, great jambalaya, hurricanes and plenty of fun. The streets will be blocked off for a New Orleans styled street party in the heart of Midtown in front of Front Page News and Vickery's. So get down here early to get your Cajun on!
