So I'm Dan, Slodey by nickname. I'm 17, go to Fairwater High's Sixth Form and I wanna go to Glamorgan University to do a Music Technology course.
I basically live and breathe music. I play drums, but I also write music using a computer. I'm not the best, but I know I'm getting better. I write music under the alias "the 1029".
The 1029
When I started out, I wanted to get an honest opinion from those closest to me, so I sent them my stuff under the 1029 so that they wouldn't know it was my own work. The name comes from the fact that I finished the first song under the alias, "Out of Your Love", at 10:29PM.

There's more in the works from me as the 1029. I'm going in a completely different direction with my new stuff to see what I can do in other fields. Hopefully, my next playlist will be a bit more varied than the last and will be more listenable to everyone.
Saturday Crush
I'm also in a band called Saturday Crush. I'm one of two singers and sort of have the driver's seat when it comes to writing material (90% of why I'm in the band).
We don't really have much to show for it, but we've been really busy with this project. In my opinion it's been a slow start, and I think we've gone about a few things the wrong way, but we're pulling it together now and we should hopefully be able to play a gig in the near future, so keep your ears pealed.
So that's me and my life. I have some awesome friends, and only now am I really starting to appriciate them. Thanks for being there guys!
