Alessandro Russo aka SLOK is an Italian musician, dj and label manager who started his career with productions as forerunner of the italian's breakbeat, Jungle & drum n bass, with his albums ‘They Call it Jungle’ and ‘Freak 2000’ produced for Irma Records. After a change to electronic sounds in 2006, the international club hit 'Lonely Child' released on the Satoshie Tomiie / Hector Romero's imprint SAW Recordings boosted his musical career quickly. His discography also includes releases on such esteemed labels as Plastic Fantastic (as Stereonova), Get Physical, Circle Music, Pacha, Baroque, 4Kenzo, Turbo, My Favourite Robot, Juicy, Definition, King Kong and of course on his own Electronic Petz label. He also runs Magma, an underground dance oriented, syndicated radio show aired on 47 FM Italian Radio stations. As a DJ, he has toured half the world Brazil, France, Austria, Russia, Canada, Croatia, Portugal, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Hungary and of course he’s well-known in his native Italy. His productions have received the support of major players such as Sasha, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, DJ T, M.A.N.D.Y, Tiga, Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk and many more.
