..Just a little about me..., I am levelheaded and very much down to earth and like most everyone else, I too have made many mistakes resulting from simple choices. On the other hand, it’s not so much the mistakes made as it is the lessons learned from them. So then, what can you do? You try to fix'em and continue moving forward. See my Blog: "My Testimony"

For the most part I am an open book…I don’t try to hide who I am or where I’ve been, what’s the point? After all, we were all created from the same dust and are here to live together and could, if we would try, learn from one another. However, the biggest mistake of mankind was inviting self centeredness into our lives, consequently, creating division amongst what was meant to be in harmony with one and the other. As for me, my fascination doesn’t rest in myself but in seeking wisdom and understanding both of which are found from above. Therefore, I want to increase not decrease and I know I cannot do it alone, I need guidance from our heavenly father, as we all do.

Moving on: I enjoy meeting people, listening to life stories and being attentive to my own surroundings. I have found that when I pay attention, listening, there is a message to be heard. It is a message of perpetuation, intent upon developing perfection in our lives and is in everything everywhere, from the most miniscule to the mightiest, and is working together, in unison, for a greater purpose of mankind. Often times though, this small still voice goes unnoticed, to those who do not have an ear, but oh… what a sweet sound it is, this compass to our souls and lamp to our footsteps. If only we would stop long enough to hear… truly, we would then see so much.

To sum it up, I am determined to be the best person I can be but realize that I can do nothing on my own; I am merely the result of a single stroke of the artist’s brush. The one, who gives true purpose to our lives, is the great artist himself, our loving creator and Heavenly Father. He and He alone is the source that keeps this complicated world pieced together in perfect harmony and who makes all things possible. It’s a day by day process for me, to be the best I can be, I stumble from time to time but I know no matter what I do or how much I stumble, He will always be there to pick me up, with open arms. And when I have squandered away all that has been given me, I know I will always have a home to come back to. “I thank you Lord for all you have done for me.”

I love the Lord because of what he has done. He has restored many broken pieces of my life and continues to do so daily. He has shown me reason and has given me purpose for so many things that I had once lost all hope for and has freed me from the chains that kept me bound to the troubles of this world. He has taught me how to forgive and has blessed me with understanding that comes with it. But most of all, He has instilled in me the importance of accepting people for who they are and not for whom I want them to be, this is but a glimpse of our creator’s own heart, what a great privilege I have been given.

If you have a question, comment, or concern or would just like to talk about it, please leave a message and I’ll respond as soon as possible.

May the Good Lord Bless Us All.

It Is Written: I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster plans to give you a future filled with hope. Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will hear you. When you look for me, you will find me. When you wholeheartedly seek me, I will let you find me, declares the LORD. I will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I've scattered you, declares the LORD. I will bring you back from the place where you are being held captive. (Jeremiah 29:11-14)

A point to ponder:
Unforgiveness is a lethally silent disease that infects the mind. It breeds bitterness, resentment, and anger while exposing the heart to hate and despair. It consumes every ounce of our wellbeing and robs us of our joy and self worth until finally; we are left dispirited and hopeless. What good is in that?

Please see my Blog "The Art of Forgiveness" (Audio version) for more on this subject.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

How wonderful! How glorious is the Love of God. How awesome is His love toward us! The love of God is beyond comprehension!

1John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Titus 3:3-6 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.

We cannot earn our salvation. We cannot attain salvation through our good works but rather the gift of salvation is simply that: A GIFT...A FREE GIFT from God to us. The Lord Jesus came down from glory wrapped in human flesh-- born in a manger and died on a cruel cross to purchase our salvation. He died willingly for you and me. What a glorious thought! And equally glorious is the fact that Jesus arose from the dead on the third day. He is alive and able to save all who come to God by faith in Him. We give God praise for all He has done for us. What a wonderful Savior!

1John 4:10
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Dear reader, if you have not yet received Christ Jesus as your Savior, invite Him into your heart today. Only Jesus' blood can wash your sins away. Because every man has sinned, every man must receive Christ in order to go to Heaven. Sin separates man from God but salvation is offered freely through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift.

One person in the Lord's kingdom can make a big difference.

Some of us may think of ourselves as insignificant or unimportant even though we have made it into the Church. Some may think that what they do or say would not have a significant impact on anything.

Many momentous things have occurred because one somebody made the sacrifice or spoke up and stood for truth. Think of Mordecai and how he would not bow down to Haman in respect to another law. Think of Esther and how because of her obedience to Mordecai she was able to help save the Jews. Read the book of Esther. Mary the mother of Jesus Christ, when the angel spoke to her submitted and allowed her personal life to be put on hold in order to bring the savior, Jesus Christ, into the world. Luke 1:27-38 the little slave girl who waited on Naaman's wife, spoke of her faith in the healing of God for his leprosy if only Naaman would contact the prophet. 2 Kings 5:1-3

These and others where humble and believed in the Lord according to His word. Today, we also should demonstrate such faith. Think of this: how would you know, a profound miracle may be waiting to happen through you.

Do that which is right no matter what ...

Not all of the time will you be praised for performing the right thing. Sometimes your toughest criticism comes when you are simply doing what is right. However, we should not back down or alter our ways because we are not supported by men while doing the proper thing. Suppose those before us gave in because they were persecuted for doing right? Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross because of all the right He had done. Where would we all be today if He had given in and evaded the cross? There is infinite good that comes out of His suffering. Likewise with us today, if we abide faithful in that which is right, our labor will have a beneficial affect on those whose lives we touch.

Be found ready for a pleasant reward

We have many testimonies of various things that encourage people to press on during the tough times. These testimonies help persuade people that they might endure until the time of rewarding. However, we have an enemy in the world who preys on the lust that is in the flesh. The enemy tries to wake us up and cause us to be concerned about what the flesh wants that we might be off base when rewarding time comes.

God is an unchangeable God and He is exact. God does not take it if it is almost, but it has to be exact. He is a precise God. Therefore, no matter how much good you have done, when He comes to reward you, even if you were perfect until the last second of His coming and you forfeit, then He will look at it as if you have not done anything. Matthew 24:48 "But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, my Lord delayeth His coming; And shall smite his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The Lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

So it is not wise for us to take this life that God has blessed us with and not become perfect and complete in Christ. Once complete in Christ, we must maintain this position and be found so doing upon His return to receive a peaceable reward.
