SLOW BlIND TONE is dedicated to the principal that music brings about change. Our Sound is a soulful blend of rock, funk, blues and jazz that is right for today's changing music scene. At a time when music is undergoing a metamophosis around the country, SBT has arrived again as a fresh fusion of unique musical talent, adhering to the old while bringing in the new. The Voice and Guitar of SBT is Dave Higgins, a Player and writer for many years. After years of playing in the East Tennessee area Dave is back. The Bangor Maine native brings a souful groove, and intense licks to the Brewer based band. The Bass of SBT is Tony Margaronis, a bass and guitar player for years. Tony has been involved in the music scene for a long time. With great competence behind him Tony pushes the band to the extreme of musical diversity, all in one high energy package. The Beat of SBT thunders from Mike Arnold, who drives each song to a new level of funk-based energy.This Brewer drummer with years of live performances is a experienced percussionist who can complement the mellower, jazz and blues inspired side of Slow Blind Tone. The Keys of SBT are provided by Mike (Pepe) Rancourt, with extensive knowledge of the piano as well as percussion Mike gives the band an edge with intelligent musical skill. Mike is now back in Maine after some time in Vegas, pushing SBT to a new limit, as well as marketability. Slow Blind Tone, with soulful and intelligent songwriting and diverse musical styles of past and present are what make this group's songs stay with its audience long after the last chord has been played.
