Slow Burning Car is an agency dedicated to the preservation of creative individualism and the alchemy of "Rock" through compositional application in the audio realm. The agency is based upon the research and developmental experimentation of founder and "Agent Prime", Troy Spiropoulos (also known as "The Squid" to fellow agents and clandestine operatives) resulting in the discovery of specimens known as "Songs". These "songs", as created under the protection of Trifonic Labratories (Ascap), have been observed to stimulate diverse emotional responses in various members of the human species (and their imaginations) from interest (pleasure, curiosity, euphoria) to discomfort (hate, stress, tension, aggression). Twelve of these "songs" have been incorporated into a hypothetical audio thesis entitled, "Blowback" designed to provoke critical thought, physical reaction, and ultimately enjoyment in the listener.
In addition to "Agent Prime"(Field Operative/General), Troy Spiropoulos (lead and backing vocals, electric-acoustic-lead guitars*, bass, hand percussion, and samples), thirteen other agents have pledged their allegiance to the agency offering contributions in each of their own capacities. Burt "Malcutt" Malcuit (Agent 2 - Oracle/Reconnaissance) acted as Engineer and Co-Producer, contributing various bits of instrumentation in the process. Mike Zimmerman (Agent 3 - Cannons/Heavy Artillery) performed all drum tracks. Lead guitar (solos specifically were contributed by the Infantry Division which featured Steve Ornest (Agent 4a), Derek Reynolds (Agent 4b), Bryan Gage (Agent 4c), and Tracii Guns (Agent 4d - "honorary"). Also assigned to the Infantry division were Eddie Estudio (Agent 4e) on saxophone, Heather Ludoe (Agent 4f- viola), Julie Carpenter (Agent 4h- violin), and Jason Hemmens (Agent 4i- harmonica). The Communications division featured backing vocals from Greg St.John (Agent 5a), Krista Ray (Agent 5b) and Sheila McSherry (Agent 5c) on various tracks.
The Slow Burning Car will be performing public exhibitions and audio demonstrations of their experiments/specimens ("Songs") regionally, nationally, and internationally in 2007 in hopes of spreading their cure to the epidemic of audio monotony currently paralyzing the ears and minds of the human population globally. Operatives Birkholz (Agent 6, Infantry - Lead/Rhythm Guitars) and Le (Agent 7, Infantry - Lead/Rhythm Guitars) have been recruited to assist the Agency in these exhibitions, as was Operative Bishop (Agent 4-20 Infantry, keys/samples/backing vocals).

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
Thank you, We appreciate your support ! We hope to see ya soon at one of our shows and make sure to check out our music at our MySpace and check the merchandise in our shop !
we just wanted to thank you for adding us as friends, we are a new band from Birmingham and are working on material as we speak. The songs we are due to record over the next few weeks are bangin!! (There no ego in there at all, my words are chosen carefully and on the basis of 'would I buy this music myself....?') So we hope you like 'Like I Care!?' and 'Spitting Teeth' so far!! Keep your eyes peeled for updates on our Blog and the occasional bulletin, and feel free to drop by and leave us comments!!
