About Slugfest Records

Slugfest Records is a national independent record label with a passion for artist development. This Pennsylvania based company has developed a family-like environment with their bands/friends to help them record, promote, market and brand their music for the masses. Slugfest works hard to bring the best new independent music to its fans and supporters.
Record Executive/Producer Joe Mattis formed Slugfest Records in 1999. Mattis with his degree from Musician's Institute is at heart, as much an artist as the clients and companies for whom he has worked for over the past 20 years. He has worked with superstars U2,The Who,Iggy Pop and many more. He has also worked for the following music companies Island Records,Polygram Records,Universial and King Biscuit Ent. He now brings that expertise to the young talents that are being developed at Slugfest. Slugfest is committed to implementing creative marketing and sales plans to help the bands achieve their goals. We look forward to continued growth and success of the label and to make Slugfest Records a great entertainment company.

Congratulation to Alright Junior., and Lori Lampkin on their continued success. Sterling Sound is "THE" mastering studio in New York. Since the introduction of the Compact Disc format in the early 1980's, Sterling Sound has mastered thousands of CDs.
