Ils avaient fait le festival des Inrocks à la fin des années 90 et ont tourné dans le monde entier avec des groupes fantastiques comme The Clean, Chris Knox ou les Tall Dwarfs, toute la scène indie pop kiwi des années 80/90 inspirée à mort par le Velvet et les Modern Lovers.
