Civilize A.K.A Slumsupastar. Born as Marcus Aaron Saunders In Halifax Nova Scoita ,later relocated to Saint John N.B also known as Port City with his mother and brother Tyrone Saunders. Times were hard as his single mother strived and worked 24 7 to support her 2 boys.Civilize found him self getting caught up in the street and eventually found himself behind bars at the age of 15teen, that is around the time when he found he had a talent and a passion for music this kept his mind away from the street and out of trouble. But seven years later the same infamous north end streets of port city known for It's drugs run down housing and high crime rate the slums of Saint John, he ended up behind bars again but this stop was the county jail and due to the circumstances of his crime was lucky he did not recive the 2 year pen bid he almost faced.But know since released from custody he is focused on his music.He is a rap artist and a beat producer he has been doing this now for just about 10 years records all his own music and is trying to stay out of trouble and focused on the future of his daughters oldest Lataya 7 yrs of age and youngest Jersey 16 mths he is working on his album "What I Do"
