SLurg Lesson 3 mix
I haven't done an indie rap mix in a long time, so I figured since the genre is so popular in the blog world I could do another one. 75 minutes of indie rap from the mid to late 90's, from LA, New York, Australia and Europe. Enjoy.
My official biog is lost somewhere on a CD, so I'll just state the facts, resume-style.
1986 My cousin hands me my first hip-hop tapes (Licensed To Ill and Raising Hell).
1990 I start my first radio show on Radio Pomme, called We Love. I start to interviews of french bands (I Am, Assassin, Solaar, Sté, Sage Poetes De La Rue, Les Littles, Fabe, Koma...). The show will air until 1997 when Radio Pomme go bankrupt.
1994 I start to craft beats on a crappy computer.
1996 I start a series of mixtapes.
1997 I host a radio show on HDR in Rouen with Bachir & Moda, called Keep It Fake.
1998 After collecting records for more than ten years, I realize it's time to invest in a turntable and a mixer. Still with Moda & Bachir we switch the name of the show to Tout Droit Réservé.
1998-2000 While we're still on HDR, Bachir and me also do another show (Think Twice) on RC2, a lousy station but with a better signal !
1999 Fabe ask me to make a mix every two weeks for his radio show on Generation in Paris.
2000 I moved to Paris to slave for a PR company. That's when I started to do a million things...

Ca faisait déja un petit moment que j'avais envie de le balancer on line donc voila c'est fait, mon premier EP "Acteur Majeur", sorti en 2005 et entièrement produit par mon négro La chauve-souris, est téléchargeable gratuitement dans la partie blog de ma page Myspace !
En attendant l'album, c'est donc une petite session back in the dayz que je propose à tous les amateurs d'original-bestown-vibes qui n'ont pas eu l'occaz d'écouter ce skeudi à l'époque !
Pour vous résumer le délire, "Acteur Majeur" ça rime, ça phase, ça flow, ça parle de chiens, de chattes, d'oreilles frigides, d'ennemi d'ma femme et de voies express, le tout couché sur une production hip-hop sauce Bat-Boo, tout droit sortie d'une prise jack d'MPC 2000 XL, mêlant au boom-bap, le jazz, la funk et l'électro !

It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them.
