Welcome, and thanks for visiting. I am a documentary filmmaker seeking subjects for a short documentary film to be shot in mid/late December 2006 in Winnipeg, Manitoba....the Slurpee Capital of the World.

For the past seven years, Winnipeg (average high temperature of -9 degrees Celsius from Nov-Feb) has the highest per capita consumption of Slurpees in North America.

My film seeks to explore what makes Slurpees so appealing and addictive to folks in the 'Peg. I want to hear from people whose lives revolve around Slurpees, people who can't get through their day without at least one Slurpee, people who have interesting, funny, bizarre stories to tell about Slurpees and how they've shaped their lives.

If you live in or around Winnipeg and think you have what I'm looking for, I would love to hear from you. If you know someone in Winnipeg who fits the bill, I would love to hear from you. If you live nowhere near Winnipeg but are fanatical about Slurpees and have great stories to share, I will be slightly sad because my budget probably won't let me meet you, BUT I still would love to hear from you.
