The band name, Seven Last Words of Christ, refers to the phrase, "I
never knew you; depart from Me" (Matthew 7:23). In this passage of
scripture, we are told that entering heaven takes more than just calling
Jesus "Lord." It takes a committed effort that is reflected in everyday
life. Those seven words are the last that'll be heard by those unwilling
to make this commitment. The band's passion is to prevent anyone from
ever hearing those words.
This music is passionate. This music has a meaning.
