Small & Keen (Alexander Bruns) comes from the beautiful city Hamburg, Germany. Beginning with a DJ contest in Hamburg, for Alex, the access to the world of music was gained. Over the years he has been presenting his style (progressive, tech, vocal, uplifting and hardtrance) in various clubs in and around Hamburg. He always loved to turn on the dancing crowd. Inevitably, paths crossed with guys of Store N Forward (Thomas & Chris), who are from Hamburg as well. Which was tending to be a friendship at first, later also emerged as successful teamwork. Alex’s interested in producing music was aroused by those two guys. As a result of it: Some demo tracks sprouted. His first remix for the American trance duo David & Carr will be followed by his very first single “Polarlights”. After some issues in the beginning, it will be finally released, on the UK label MPFS Records, in summer 2009. A remix pack will be provided with artists like Terrafusion, Evol Waves and Lenny Linus Douglas. Let’s wait and see what we are about to hear of Small & Keen this year. Furthermore you can listen to his sets every fourth week in the month on the trance-channel www.pure.fm. Biographie (Deutsch) : Wer ist Small & Keen ??? Small & Keen (Alexander Bruns) kommt aus der schönen Stadt Hamburg. Beginnend mit einem DJ Contest in Hamburg war für Alex der Einstieg in die Musikwelt geschaffen. Im Laufe der Jahre danach präsentierte er seinen Style (Progressive- , Tech- , Vocal- , Uplifting - und Hardtrance) in verschiedenen Discotheken in und um Hamburg auf, was ihn immer Freude brachte die tanzende Menge anzuheizen. Zwangsläufig kreuzten sich die Wege mit den Hamburger Jungs Store N Forward (Thomas & Chris).Was als Freundschaft begann, entpuppte sich im 2ten Schritt auch als eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit. Durch die beiden wurde in ihm das Interesse am Produzieren geweckt und es entstanden einige Demo Tracks. Nach einem ersten Remix für das amerikanische Trance Dou David & Carr folgte bald die erste Single „Polarlights“ die mit einigen Startschwierigkeiten dann endlich im Sommer 2009 das Licht der Welt erblickt und auf dem UK Label MPFS Records veröffentlicht wird. Remixe werden hierbei von Terrafusion , Evol Waves und Lenny Linus Douglas beigesteuert. Mal sehen was man dieses Jahr noch von Small & Keen so hört und evtl. sieht man Ihn ja auch mal in eurer Stadt.
