If only 1% of all bands in the world get signed (and that is already a high number), then 99% of bands do not get signed. If that statistic is true, then we at Small Guy Music want to step up and be the record label, the destination, and the home for those 99%. We believe in strength in numbers. We have proven it time and time again that working with the right people can take you further, no matter your trade.

With that said, we want to bring back the handshake to the entertainment industry. What does that mean? It simply means we want to be available to the artist. We want to be able to showcase you to the eyes and ears of people that may not have had the chance to hear your talent. We have various ways of doing that. LIVE EVENTS

Our live events have been held all over the world and are centered out of Dallas, Texas. Each event features a Runway Rock Show with a performance by Matthew JC and the AllStars, but all are different and unique in their own way. On average about 6-12 Bands will take part in this festival type atmosphere. Bands that take part of our CD Compilations will be asked to showcase in the events before other bands. We believe in supporting the music scene and believe that bands that support us and want to work in a common effort for everyones success will be considered first by SGM. TV SHOW – RISE OF THE UNSIGNED

This show is based on the simple questions:
What does it mean to be unsigned?
What does it mean to be signed?
Which is better and which is best for you?

The show films Small Guy Music / Matthew JC as we prepare to put on a show in a major city; the work behind creating, promoting and booking a major event. It features live music from bands selected to perform the event, as well as the models in the Runway Rock Shows. It focuses specifically on the journey to prepare for an event and for a career in the entertainment industry, as well as an exciting look into the world of the rising bands and models in the entertainment industry.
