About me:
At the end of July 2007 we embark on a journey to Jerusalem in order to learn more about how we, as individuals, groups and nations, can make significant changes to our world by starting from within.

Travelling through Europe and the Middle East we hope to gain a greater understanding of global politics, non-violence, proactivity and ourselves. We hope to express solidarity with the organisations and people we meet on this special journey and share our experiences and time with them.

Anyone is welcome to join us on this adventure. If you've ever wanted to travel, meet amazing people and gain experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime, then be a part of something special and jump on board...

The Battery Apple Trees	Nov 3 2007 3:24 PM so....children in Uzbekistan are being removed from school and forced to go and pick cotton....the cotton gets sent onto India & Bangladesh to be made into garments for us lucky people in the U.K..... We know you're all far too cool to get your threads at Asda's (ahem, Wallmart's) George, or even at Matalan, but what about the many, many families who rely on cheaper clothes for themselves and their own children....??..... what can YOU do?? You could just crack open another beer, and pretend you're nothing to do with it all (after all, your clothes are all ethically sourced right???_ You could write to your M.P ( find them at the following link: http://www.parliament.uk/directories/hciolists/alcm.cfm .....or to your local Councillor..... Just a short, polite note would help a great deal..... Or you could do nothing, and let the suppliers have their way..... 8 year olds picking cotton instead of being educated....(hey, but wait a minute, doesn't that just mean more uneducated casual labour for us in about 10 years time???......and more dole money for you and your mates???) it's all in your hands......as someone once said......
