I'm thankful to be able to play with my band and other local musicians as well. The pictures above are from practice.
I like to add a little bit of fast finger-tappin' to my leads.
My band mates in order (in the photo above): Collin, Taylor, that's me - Tony B. in the middle, Nik, and Kaleb. Kaleb has just left the band, so we're still in an adjustment phase, but I wish him the best for sure. He's an amazing guy. My band writes songs and travel from gig to gig, so we hang out a lot. My bandmates are very cool, talented, and hilarious.
Nik and I have been playing together the longest - Nik's our AMAZING drummer - he plays like a pro already.
Taylor joined us right after that and I couldn't believe how smokin' hot his guitar leads were...it's still awesome to watch.
Collin joined us as a bass player and singer - his voice really has a broad range - You should hear him on Rock You Like a Hurricane - it's very cool!
Here's another picture of our band (below) - Dude, I'm jumping in the air! (far right) We were playing in front of a panel of judges - we won 1st place and a trip to Memphis. I'll upload some of our performances later - I'm still trying to figure out some of this myspace stuff.
Music
..
I think it's really cool playing with my band, but I actually get to play with Michael Stewart sometimes and I think that's awesome. Michael's in a band called DRIvIN RAIN and he's opened for Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, and a lot of famous bands.
I really like living in the Cape Girardeau area because there's such a huge emphasis on music here. Bands in our area have been very supportive of the Small Town Boyz, helping us with our sound and coming out to see us perform.

Hi, I'm Tony B. from the band, Small Town Boyz. I play lead guitar, sing, and I write a
lot of our songs. I enjoy classic rock, pop, southern rock, blues, country, and jazz.
I enjoy jamming with other bands and musicians - just tell me what key your song is in and I can provide the cool rhythms and rockin' leads. I really enjoy impromptu jams - they challenge the mind. I'm still surprised at all the attention, but I'm thankful for it too.
Music is a big part of who I am - it's in every moment of every day of my life like a soundtrack to a movie... (as I mention in one of my new songs.)
The above video is me doing a demo for Delta Blues Classics. I'm playing their cigar box guitar named, "Black Magic." Around the skull the pirate script reads: "Trample the weak. Hurdle the Dead." (Info on guitar: It's an open-tuned, 4-String Fretted Cigar Box Guitar; #9 Strings; Roller-Style String Retainer, Single Coil Pick-up; Amazing tone!) See Delta Blues Classics for the coolest cigar box guitars on the market.
Who I'd like to meet:
There's a lot of people that I'd like to meet - Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, James Hetfield of Metallica, The Academy Is, Hinder, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Eddie Van Halen, Soundgarden, All-American Rejects, Green Day, and a bunch more. Some of my fav bands about to hit it big: Biting the Dog, The Drownout, The Bootheel Contingent, the Mike Renick Band, Tungsten Groove, and Canadian Customs. I'm currently playing a Gibson Les Paul, Paul Reed Smith (Custom 24) and a new Flaxwood guitar. Thanks for looking in on my page and supporting us all along the way. I'm living out my dream and you're all making it a cool ride.
Wow your site is SUPER! Congratulations on the TOP 50!
Thank you for stopping by! We are doing well, thank you, like the Waltons (an old depression era drama tv series) we were poor and scrappy to start with, so it's just sharpening the skills we have, tee hee. I am looking into building solar panels and wind turbines and have a lot of good rice and bean recipies. It comforts me to see people living a more sustainable lifestyle, and asking hard questions of themselves and government and corporate leaders.
I know, blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda....
You rock Tony, and I am so very happy for your success!

Hope you and your band can make the show, even if your on crutches. We'll dedicate a song for you. Any preferences?
