St. Johns Cinema ROCKY HORROR TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO! GET EXCITED!!!!!! LET'S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN! view more
About me: Sorry,
We have decided to close!
We thank our patrons for their encouragement and support.
We understand that in this tight economy families sometimes need to reduce their spending, and not going to the theater is one way to reduce expenses. Obviously when families reduce, or stop visiting local businesses, the businesses are hurt. The St. Johns Cinema is the casualty of the current economy. We have a severe liquidity crisis and no bail out.
The projection and sound equipment is for sale. Individuals or organizations that might be interested in purchasing it should contact Jim or Cindy Sawyer at 517-651-6046 or send e-mail to Jim at jimbillyer@hotmail.com or Chuck Goeke at goeke@yahoo.com.
In addition, the entire operations is for sale.
Cindy would like to talk to, and possibly work with any Non-Profit Organization that would be interested in operating a theater. Please contact her for more information.
Check www.smalltowncinema.com after 10/17/08 for pictures of the equipment that is for sale.
Thats always great to hear. The movie is still in very early stages of production though. Im doing all the writing, directing, scripting, basically everything! Ive got alot of work to do, ontop of that no budget & no time. Id really enjoy it though if you showed my movie once its finished.
Thanks for the add! I am involved in the Jackson Shadow cast for RHPS and would like to see other casts perform as well... Looking forward to September...
By the way, our next Jackson showing is tomorrow night August 30, 2008 at 11:00 at the Michigan Theater..
Hey, thanks for the add! Glad to hear theres a locally owned theatre in the area What are the chances of allowing local independant films to be played?? Hopefully well be in contact soon =]
I too worked at that theatre A LONG, LONG TIME AGO. I have a lot of great memories in that theatre. I wish you well and would like see it become the booming and "happening" place it once was. Best of luck. "See you in the movies"
