If you know Patrick Monson or Carson Wolfe at all, then I am sure you are suprised to learn of their folk-project, The Small Town Sinners. After abondoning a very successful underground hip-hop lifestyle that earned them an untouchable reputation as the most profound and socialy concious rap duo to ever move the truth, the team changed their name, image, and goals, inlight of a spiritual rebirth brought on by the death of the Notorious B.I.G.
Listen to one track from the Sinners and you will know, undoubtedly, that they are still moving the truth with even more of the pasion, grit, and tenacity that made them famous once before. It is the word, and even more so how it is said, that relentlesly shakes the earth that we walk on.
oh, it will happen my friend. i've just got to figure out dates. how does the 2nd weekend of february sound? that way we've got plenty of time to prepare/promote
I'm back on the Island now; but I had a blast kickin' it with y'all. We'll have to do it again hey. I'll try to get KC to pop out on the road with me next go. Peace, hope and love.
job interview went well, they liked me so much they called me back for a 2nd interview, couldn't get enough of me. Thanks about the stash, i'm working on starting a new one, but it won't look like that for several months.
Alright buddies, the show on Nov. 5th that I just asked you about is all set up. Nathan from Art of Whimsy, Sinners, Bombs, and KiraMesa. I'm super duper stoked :)
yeah, good things to y'all as well. The Sinners were an unexpected find on my wanderings. KC looked me up when he got here and we've been jamming the last couple of weeks... it's a pretty rad sound. anyway, I think Casey over at the loft is going to try and put a show together for you guys, kira mesa and myself. Should be epic. Peace, hope and love to y'all.
Yeah absolutley, you guys are the best! I took a break from shows for a while to write a new set. One that is actually a little more "acoustic". haha but, I'm almost done so I'm sure I will. let me know when you play there next and I'll be sure to come.
