Small Wonders is a hip hop group built around the DJ and the MC. Founding members Marcus, (Definition the Wax Mechanic) and Donta (GoldenEye), bring a Guru/Premiere vibe to the table. The fundamental element of the group is built around the formula of Definition Composed tracks with GoldenEye deliverin rhymes, topped off with Def layin some cuts and scratches from the 1200s. Small Wonders manufactures quality handmade hip hop music.
Formerly known as High Society, Marcus and Donta have been making music together since 99' when both were members of the Warheadz movement. The release of High Society in 2003 was headed by the powerful single, "Beautiful People" and promoted through the Wax Mechanixxx(a four man DJ team that Marcus was apart of).
The name Small Wonders was applied to the group in 2008. Much of last year was spent doing shows around the Central Indiana area and working on new music that materialized into our first two projects. A mixtape titled "Playability" and the debut album due this August titled "The Template"
Small Wonders can be found doing shows in the midwest region this summer and fall. We are now booking for the "Playability Tour"which will be kicking off in the beginning of August.
