About me:
The basics (name, age, where I work, etc) are all part of the profile already, so I'll just say that I'm always looking for new friends and new trouble to get into.I'm a former social activist who doesn't mind holding a sign and yelling, but I haven't had the heart to even try lately.
I am a Covert Agent for a little company you may have heard of. Yes, I have driven around the Geekmobile for Geek Squad and, while I thoroughly enjoy my job, I will not help you with your computer problems "on the side."
Somehow, I fall into the categories of techno-geek and hippie at the same time. I live a green life, eat organic, hang my clothes out to dry, recycle, and compost. I also have no less than four computers that I use regularly, two DVR's in different rooms, carry two cell phones, and have a 103" projector screen behind a 42" plasma. Weird, I know.
Jagermeister and Red Bull go together like me and my girlfriend of five+ years, Kristin. Obviously, they go together quite well. A good Saturday night (or ANY night) consists of all of the above and some good, loud music... just not loud enough to get the attention of the cops (oops).
Fourteen years ago, I opened my first e-mail account and IM account. Twelve years ago, I got my first cell phone. Ten years ago, I started texting. Eight years ago, I joined the now-defunct Bolt website. Six years ago, I became part of MySpace. Every couple of years, the method we use to communicate changes.
However, face to face has always worked for me as well.

I used to have alot of heroes... but I realized recently that life isn't fair. You don't get ahead by working to be the best you can, you get ahead by luck. Sometimes the ones who do almost everything right fail because of that word "almost." -- The above was written last year when I was dealing with the most difficult challenge I've ever faced. Those who know me well know what it's about. Things have changed now, but my worldview still holds these words true, so they will remain.I am my own hero :-P
