sarah's Blurbs |
About me:
A reader, a writer, prone to sudden, intense, but ultimately short-lived enthusiasms (knitting, playing the guitar, graphic novels) for which I maintain a nostalgic affection and a vague sense that "someday" I'll go back to them. I'm also a wife, a mother, a "Pee Wee Playgroup" and "Toddler Time" regular. In the past year, largely against my will, I have learned the names of all the trucks on Bob the Builder and all the trains on Sodor. I write meandering, depressing short stories, mystery novels, and peppy articles for UpClose magazine. Only the articles have been published. I belong to a writing group--check us out at www.concretebride.com. I'm happily married to an Applied Mathematician, which makes for bitter struggles over the remote control. He codes while I watch SVU and Without a Trace, and I read while he watches Attack of the Show & Top Gear. We agree on Veronica Mars and the Office, and that's enough. My favorite movie (yesterday, today, forever) remains "When Harry Met Sally." His is "Love, Actually." Clearly compatible.
