MySpace a place for friends

With this 3 pieces line-up (Gab, Kat, Cello), in June 2007 we release "Rest In War", a 10 tracks CD produced by ourselves, our label Epidemic Records with the help of many DIY realities.

With this record we played several gigs in Italy and some abroad (Croatia, Germany, Switzerland), sharing the stage with a bunch of great bands, making new friends and facing new experiences.

In November 2008 Kat has to leave the band because of his job, contrasting with the band's activity.

In early 2009 the baton passes to Cesko, a friend of ours since ages and the Smashrooms are back, composing new songs and ready to play new gigs and live great adventures!

[ITA] L'embrione del gruppo fu formato nel 2001. Dopo esserci avvicinati all'inizio alla musica punk-hardcore con influenze melodiche (raccogliendo le prime canzoni in un CD di 10 tracce intitolato "The Right And The Wrong"), durante gli anni ci siamo orientati di più verso l'hardcore, con importanti cambi di formazione e uno sguardo più maturo verso le cose che ci circondano.

Con questa formazione a 3 (Gab, Kat, Cello), nel Giugno 2007 pubblichiamo "Rest In War", un CD di 10 tracce prodotto da noi stessi, dalla nostra etichetta Epidemic Records con l'aiuto di varie realtà DIY.

Con quest'album abbiamo suonato svariati concerti in Italia e qualcuno all'estero (Croazia, Germania, Svizzera), condividendo il palco con un mucchio di ottimi gruppi, facendoci nuovi amici e affrontando nuove esperienze.

Nel Novembre 2008 Kat deve lasciare il gruppo a causa del suo lavoro, che contrasta con l'attività della band.

All'inizio del 2009 il testimone passa a Cesko, un nostro amico da secoli e gli Smashrooms sono tornati, componendo nuove canzoni, pronti per fare nuovi concerti e per vivere grandi avventure!
