SMC Cartage Co. Was created in 2005 with the idea to make great music. They have released a small 5 song EP entitled VOLUME 1 EP. Currently they are an unsigned act and looking forward to talking to different record labels for long term contract. Look for them in 2008!!! We are looking for a major label to take us on. The drummer and the bass player have been together off and on for over 20 years. We found guitarist Phil Felicia from the band Dead but Dreaming from seattle, after his band had broken up we joined forces and immediately began what is quickly becoming the most exciting proggressive rock bands in the northwest.
We use only Carvin Bass Amplifiers/speaker cabinets, Dean Markley Blue Steel strings, GHS Bass Boomer strings. The bassist uses Digitec and Aphex bass effects. He also use a Line 6 Bass pod pro xt live effects board to add to his arsenal of wicked bass sounds. Nick plays a custom made bass guitar, Carvin basses and Ibanez bass guitars. He also created all of our lighting show and engineered all of the controls for it as well as the travel cases for our live gear. We use Carvin mixer boards and main speakers, Crown monitor amps, Yamaha monitors, Shure and Audio Technica wireless systems and TC Helicon vocal effect proccesors coupled with a BBE 982 sonic maximisor. Shure microphones and Monster cable brand cableing. and of course, Furman power conditioners. Phil uses Mesa Boogie and Peavy amps, Tube Works speaker cabinets with a TC Helicon G major guitar effects proccesor and a BBE 462 sonic maximiser and plays custom made Steve Vai edition guitars as well as a host of many others. Kris the drummer uses Tama drums Remo heads and Sabian cymbals with DW stands and a DW double bass pedal. We also created our own recording studio called ROSCOE RECORDS, located in the hills of Estacada Oregon. We do all of our own publicity and promo stuff. We are currently recording our 3rd cd with the hopes that it will be done by september 2008. We are entertaining the idea of going on tour with another band from the northwest.
