Whether it be Photography, Paint, Sketch, or Digital, my art is a visual representation of a feeling. It is quite possibly the window to my very soul. Whenever the feeling wells up inside, I stop what I'm doing and create it. Art has given me a tremendous appreciation for the world I live in. No longer do I pass idle objects and continue my daily grind. I seem to now look at everything as its part in the ultimate masterpiece. I draw my inspiration from many abstract impressionists, but my absolute favorite is Pollock. I encourage everyone I can to pick up a pencil, or a brush, or a camera and share with the world, how you indeed see it. If everyone shared their vision of the world how remarkable would that be. Live Laugh Love CREATE!

Spring is here and so are the butterflies! This week I have a gallery of a particular group of butterflies called Brushfoots. Brushfoots are the most commonly known and encountered of the large colorful butterflies (excluding the swallowtails) found in Florida and the Americas. These include the monarchs, fritillaries, buckeyes, and the viceroy below (who has nearly identical markings as the toxic monarch butterfly) to keep it from being eaten by birds.... cool trick, huh? :-)
