About me:
Smear Town Productions was created in 2002 by Eric May and Zac Piatt. Our first spark of creativity was ignited by a Church video contest. Influenced by the popularity of the Jackass movie and series of this time, our first production was a similar themed stunt movie. Our creative juices ended up overflowing, as our love for the movie making process grew, we didn't even make the deadline for the contest. However, the film was to become our first installment in our "Two Shmucks With A Camera" series. This was, for a couple of high schoolers working out of a basement, a learning process that would propel us quickly into the knowledge necessary to make professional quality films. Although still working out of a basement, our skills and technology have grown significantly as we gain more experience and insight, taking every movie as an opportunity to learn new and better ways to achieve clarity in depicting our vision.
