Glen Smith, Justin Moore... and a rotating cast of characters.
Influences
A mix of American songwriting influences ranging from The Fray, Counting Crows, James Taylor and underground Alt Country such as Sister Hazel and a definite British sense of melody and lyrical style.
Sounds Like
Glen Smith and Justin Moore... though, at some gigs, they sound a bit more like Howling at the Moon ;-)
Smith and Moore--from the SouthWest UK--have been causing a stir with their critically acclaimed live shows and albums. They have toured all throughout the UK, Europe, and The States.

The Basement Studio is now running free open access sessions in Bristol again. These sessions are for young people at all levels of music interest and experience. There are two areas: Live music – with drum kit, bass, electric or acoustic guitars, keyboard and mics; Urban music – with music tech, DJing and MCing. There are 3x 40 min slots in each area every session. Each area is run by a tutor who will talk to you about what you want to do - and help you do it. There are also youth workers who can help you get info and advice on anything you need to know about and are generally up for a chat. They can also help you get certificates such as National Youth Achievement Awards or Arts Awards – either for the music you make or for other projects. Call the Basement (0117) 934 9013 for more info – or just turn up. We’re at the Unicorns, Colston Street (next to Colston Hall), on Tues and Thurs eves, 7.30-10pm. When you’re standing in front of Colston Hall there’s an archway directly to the right. Walk through there, make for the double brown doors (next to the bins) – through them and downstairs to the Unicorns.
For more info please contact us on 0117 934 9013 or email us info(at)basementstudio.co.uk.
Hello Mr Smith and Moore, Thank you for adding me to your list of kind and gentle friend people. I am Eno Moo and I like the sound of your music. I like soft flowers such as the buttercup and taking off across the fields. Please say you'll speak with me. Eno Moo.
