  • I'm Lady K's friend, collaborator, companion, husband
  • I've been poet 43 yrs, artist 42 yrs, editor/publisher of ArtCrimes 21 yrs, AgentOfChaos.com five yrs, Lady K’s co-blogger on WalkingThinIce.com one yr
  • I've run from the cops 10 times, got away 9
  • My job is to show the sheep in the sheep pen there are better ways to be
  • There is but one law: do as you would be done

I'd like to get stoned with Willie Nelson, have Bob Dylan record one of my poems as a song, and do a spoken word found sound collaboration with Jack Dangers.

My literary magazine, The Toronto Quarterly - Issue 2 and 3 are now available at amazon.com. There's some great poetry in each issue along with some cool interviews with up and coming and more established poets. Here is the link:

Thank you so much for those generous words. I was hoping you would enjoy my reading. Sorry I missed you and your wife's readings at Lix and Kix last week. I was dealing with moving woes that particular evening. At this moment, I am still very optimistic about my move. But I will certainly miss the Cleveland poetry scene that is graced with so many gifted and caring poets like you.

What does one send to the Lighthouse indeed! At any other time Lily could have suggested reasonably tea, tobacco, newspapers. But this morning everything seemed so extraordinarily queer that a question like Nancy’s—What does one send to the Lighthouse?—opened doors in one’s mind that went banging and swinging to and fro and made one keep asking, in a stupefied gape, What does one send? What does one do? Why is one sitting here, after all? (Woolf)

Happy Rainy Spring from me~~

in time of daffodils
by E. E.
Cummings

in time of daffodils(who know
the goal of living is to grow)
forgetting why, remember how

in time of lilacs who proclaim
the aim of waking is to dream,
remember so(forgetting seem)

in time of roses(who amaze
our now and here with paradise)
forgetting if, remember yes

in time of all sweet things beyond
whatever mind may comprehend,
remember seek(forgetting find)

and in a mystery to be
(when time from time shall set us free)
forgetting me, remember me

Xx
