Now, about this group: This band has been active in the San Francisco bay area for about 5 years. The Quartet got it's start shortly after I started writing song-oriented instrumental compositions and began looking for a musical outlet to try them out. Putting the band together was a natural progression. Although the band is comprised of musicians that would be able to relate to the music, it also happens to be an excuse to work with people who I've always admired artistically. They also happen to be some of my good friends. Playing in this band has been a dream come true.
In February of 2007, we recorded our debut album for Evander Music entitled "Basement Bloodlines".
