Richard A. Smith

Hello, my name is Richard Smith also known as DJ Kansas. I got the name DJ Kansas when I DJ'd for an online radio station and live chat lounge (ASR @ fubar dotcom. Since I was their DJ and from the state of Kansas, they called me DJ Kansas. Ever since, that name has stuck with me.

I started my business for the simple fact is, I love music. For everyone who knows me will say the same thing. If I'm not listening to music everyone always ask if I am sick, or not feeling well. All my life that's how I been. Music is food for the soul, and the mind, and eases pain and brings joy to the heart. I think I kinda drive my wife and neighbors crazy due to the fact when I'm outside working around the house I have music going, or sitting around playing my guitar, some way or some how I have music going. Seems like there isn't a time I don't listen to music. So its fair to say, Music is my life, and I figured I have no chance in playing guitar nor singing professionally, so this is the closest way to make a living, doing what I love... and that's music.

We understand that finding the right DJ for your event is hard. Specially when there are all kinds of DJ's out there claiming to do you right.

We understand that it takes more than just playing music to be a DJ. You have to be entertaining, fun, enjoyable, understanding to the event/situation and most of all playing the right music at the right time.

The important thing we feel, is communication. We work with every customer one on one so they get the event they chose for, wanted, and need. There are goals that you want to have accomplish at your event, and you and I need to make sure were on the same page so that we can reach those goals!

We are here to work with all our customers so they (YOU) get what your paying for and expecting from a DJ!
