I believe that Jesus loves us all whatever our political party. I believe that so MANY Christians try to do what will be the Lords job,and that is to judge and condemn. I believe that EVERY child is entitled to a safe and loving home. I believe that EVERYONE is entitled to affordable health care and affordable education and love from their fellow man. I believe that every pet owner should be held accountable for not spaying or neutering. I believe that your personal history and city and state history should be preserved for your children. I believe that people should wait until their late 20's at LEAST to marry and procreate. I believe that HANDS on parenting is a must and that includes appropriate discipline and many many hugs and kisses. I believe that we have done too much damage to our earth to fix it,but I will do my part I believe that Jesus loves me. And I believe very strongly that he was and remains a bleeding heart liberal.
Music
My music tastes are varied and change from day to day, or even hour to hour.
I really love to relax to Enya. I get a spiritual touch from listening to the song "Shout to the Lord."
I often turn to disco to pep me up and sometimes love the music of my younger days such as Def Leppard, even Lover Boy LOL A favorite is Joan Jett and also Cinderella.
I also like Country music, so you just never know what you might find on my playlist!

I like MOST reality shows.I am a real people watcher and human behavior and the choices we make fascinate me. I also watch a lot of the home design shows and tons and tons of Animal Planet and National Geographic and Discovery and History channel. I love The Dog Whisperer. My favorite show is Lost! Books
I like historical romance and British and American History. I read magazines like Backroads and Country. I also like inspirational and good self help books. I have read Gone with the Wind SEVERAL times LOL I am currently reading two bible books, one is called The Message and the other is called The Quest Bible. And nothing like a good Dave Berry book for a laugh. Also reading both Dog Whisperer books currently and his training video is on the way. I recently joined www.paperbackswap.com so that I can swap the books I've read for books I haven't, you should check it out if you read a lot like me
Heroes
Jesus is my hero who has ever been that brave and selfless My husband is my hero what he has gone through and what he goes through every day both physically and mentally would have felled me long ago He truly amazes me and I probably do not tell him often enough because I am probably complaining about little things like picking up his clothes Everyone is a hero we are all carrying some burden life is hard.
Who am I? I don't know, isn't that a life long journey? What am I? First I am a Christian then I'm a mom, yes I am a mom before I am a wife. I put my child first. If you disagree with that then so be it. I'm an animal activist, and not a passive activist either. If I can rescue it I will, if I cannot I will find someone who can.
Anyone who knows me is not surprised at all by my chosen career (unpaid might I add!!! LOL) I am just a sucker for animals.
I have fostered and rescued over 300 cats and kittens and continue to work diligently with my rescue partner to make sure the local kill shelter has nothing to do!!!
I am a good daughter, probably not a very good sister (my brother and I do not get along)and a fantastic wife.I'm a digital scrapbook artist (email me for kit prices and Scrap for Hire pricing),I excel at the Domestic Goddess part. I am a chauffeur,an RN,and a Med Tech,a secretary and an organizer extraordinaire,I am a tummy rubber, a head soother and a soft voice that says "yes you can." I am a poop scooper and a vomit wiper and an on call Vet Tech. A personal assistant to many. I am the picture hanger and the doorknob fixer when hubby is too busy, and I am the taker of things when boys have misbehaved.
I am one of the few women who are secure in the knowing, that their husband would never ever leave them. That one of us will be holding the others hand when the lights go out for the last time. (I love you honey thanks for being you)
I spent the better part of my life being insecure,I did not believe in myself and I didn't believe people when they told me I was pretty. I was afraid to travel, to take chances......then I met my husband. He was taking a job in Alaska and wanted me to just pack up my household and move out, 3000 miles from home?!?!? I said "OMG you want me to just JUMP, there isn't even a safety net." And he said to me "Just jump, I will catch you." How sweet is that?
Suddenly my world was wide open, along with my eyes.
I began to relish trying new things rather than REFUSING to, rather than staying in my comfort zone.
The foods, the wines, the places I've seen. The beauty and the miracles that have taken place in my life, if it ended tomorrow my only regret would be that I wanted more time with my family, to see my grandchildren, simple things.
How silly was that insecure girl? How silly to be so pretty and not even know it. How silly was she to be someone she was not, or to tamp down an adventurous spirit she never knew she had.
Insecure she was then, but insecure she is NOT, now.
I am a Christian AND a Democrat and telling me that I cannot possibly be both simply is not true. I will debate with you but you had better come armed with facts not myths or fallacies.
There are herds of people out there who grew up thinking what their daddy thought, voting like their daddy did, without once ever having sought out the facts themselves, these people are called...sheep. And that ain't no wool :o)

I am very sorry to say I cannot find the womans card! I do know she works directly with the non kill/cat santuary in Buffalo Mo - the one that takes the bus of adoptables to PetsMart in Spfld on weekends.
The mural is of a rain forest...her walls are a dark turquoise and the mural will match really pretty. We will send you a pic when it is done!!! and yea we do need to add some tlc to the bathroom.

yeah, no shit..................my boy kitty just had kittens this morning..................double spaying after the babies are bigger! I'm just glad that Shaggy got to be a daddy, he's getting really old and I think we might be keeping a boy!
When I feel better I have a blog to write on the place! What I can say is that after months in a cage and 3 weeks and 30 applications they chose the first one that applied (for "fairness"?!) Mind you, I had my contact info in a year ago hoping to have a white shepherd. I have donated, supplies and cash and have visited her 5 times in 2 weeks wanting her!
I don't know if it's bad up there, but everyone here is convinced that Obama is going to make guns and ammo impossible to get. The ammunition sales here are going through the roof, because everyone is stocking up! It cracks me up the way the lemmings all just create hysteria and then start believing the shit that they say!!!
