Welcome to the SMOKE DAWG COOKERS site. We are based out of South Houston,Texas. I started the SMOKE DAWG'S 10 years ago. Before I started the SMOKE DAWG'S I was a committe member with the Pasadena Tejano Committee-Pasadena Tejano Cookers which got started in 1991. After 9 years with the committee I decided to go out on my own. Never looking back, we have been going strong. Being able to do BIGGER & BIGGER events every year since we got started. The team consists of 12 members: Myself Jimmy(JEF)Ramirez,Leo,Annette-aka-Beanz,Alex,Jesse G.,Rey C.,Jesus G.,Gus F.,Nicko Reyes,Tonya,Fred & Alma. I would like to thank my members for being on the SMOKE DAWG'S and for all of the hard work that they put towards each and every cook-off. I hope to continue cooking for years to come and hope that each and every member would like to do the same, and we look forward to extending our surroundings and doing more out-of-town cook-offs along with our main event the Pasadena Rodeo Cook-off which I have done a total of 16 years,and this year being my 17th.
