Smoke started in Chicago 1999, with guitarist Johnny Smoke, drummer Scott Davidson, guitarist Josh Ciralski and bassist Lee. Smoke found singer Damon as he was on Rebel Radio singing karoke to a Testament song. Both Scott and Josh heard Damon sing and he was in the band the next week. Smoke has two releases. "Blistered Away" ep and "All The Right Parts". Smoke has played all over Chicago ( the infamous Metro, House Of Blues and Double Door among others) and the Midwest. Performing with bands such as Black Label Society, Trouble, Overkill, Prong, Soil, Yakuza, D.R.I., M.O.D., DBX, Armored Saint, Ion Vein, The Infamous, Rival, Skank, Drudge Puppet, Maggot Twat, Kastasyde and hundreds more. Smoke is now a four piece that includes Johnny Smoke - guitar, Scott Davidson - drums, Damon - vocals and Dan Manzella - bass. Smoke is currently working on a full length release due out in 2008.
The fires of industry. Instruments of war. Peace pipes in paradise. Bodies on the floor. The candles of an evening mass. Atmosphere with all our trash. Each other for a little cash. Burn it all and take a toke. Everything that is - creates smoke.
