My name is John Lapworth i have been in the electronic music scene since 1998 when i first began Djing. I Dj a variety of dance music genres such as Techno, Drum'n'Bass, Oldskool Hardcore and Chillout. I also write my own tunes using Cubase and Reason with Ableton Live 5, ive written a few tracks from different genres that i mentioned above but mainly concentrate on Chillout tracks. Ive performed at a few venues in Birmingham and a festival called 'Spamstock', which is an event that takes place in a different location every year in the UK.
Spamstock started in 1998 and was still going untill this year as the organiser has other festivals lined up. I am currently on my second year of college studying music technology it has taught me a great deal and has benefitted me on my quest to make music. The tunes which are uploaded for your listening pleasure form part of an ambient album i am currently working on, the album is called Chillabriam and should be finished in the not too distant future. Any feedback on the tracks good/bad would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
