After the first few drags your feeling a little mellow, you begin to relax, and you have a feeling of well-being. But this is just the begining. Take a few more tokes, and the feeling of well-being spreads through your entire body. Your calm, all your worries are in the back of your head, and any feeling of depression or anxiety is gone.
One of the best part of weed, is its hard to get sick of it. There are countless varieties of weed. They can be prepared in all different ways. There are tons of different species of it. And they all have different effects. There are also tons of ways to smoke it. Such as pipes, bongs, blunts, bowls, chillums, joints, spliffs, vaporizers, hookahs, and even more!
My culture is very widespread. Marijuana has been used since 3000BC in China, Central Asia, and India. In the very begining, it was used for medicinal purposes only. Then when people started to realize what it did, it was used to recreation purposes, but not untill 700BC. The southern Siberians were the first to smoke it recreationally.
The plant itself it amazing. There are 3 species of it. Cannabis sativa, cannabis indica, and cannabis ruderalis. Sativa is a more bushy, taller plant then indica, but their both known for their high potency of THC.(tetrahydrocannabinol) Cannabis ruderalis is alot stringier weed, with not much THC in it. Its mainly used for fibre.
However, not everyone is so fond of it. Marijuana was all over the globe, but in The United States of America, there was the most controversy. By the 1800s, it was estimated that NYC alone, had over 500 places to smoke weed/hash. Long story short, marijuana was illegalized because of racism. America was mainly turned onto the herb, by the Mexican, African, Indian, and South American immigrants. Seeing as they had a problem with both weed, and the immigrants, they decided to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The goverment claimed that all crimes cause by immigrants were because they were under the influence of marijuana. Anslinger, the head of the FBN (Federal Bureau of Narcotics), in 1936 said " Those addicted to marijuana, after an early feeling of exhilaration, soon loose restraints, all inhibitons. They become bestial demoniacs with the mad lust to kill..." The goverment also said that it was the reason that there was black men raping white women, fathers raping daughters, and mad axe killers wiping out entire families. This was mainly all done by Anslingers campaign. Then there came pulp fiction trash moveis such as "Reefer Madness," and "Weed With Roots In Hell." They were early propaganda films made to alert the public about bullshit stories about smoking marijuana. Then sadly, in 1937, it was made illegal. : (
How bout somewhere it is legal? Then lets take a journey to the Netherlands. When some say Amsterdam, they think of weed. But dont just go there and expect to walk into a store, buy an oz of trees, and smoke a spliff on the street. There are designated spots for smoking. Coffee shops. There are well over 300 shops in Amsterdam. But dont be fooled. There are alot of tourist traps. They lure you in, and you think its great. In retrospect, their ripping you off. Making you pay tons for just 1/8, and the coffee, space cakes suck. But not all of them are traps. There are some that are know for cheepness, amazing food, high potent buds, and widespread menus. Such asBarneys Breakfast Bar, Brandend Zand, Blue Bird, The Bulldog, The Dolphin, Dread Rock, De Dampkring, Kashmir Lounge, Dutch Flowers, and many many more. But the herb isnt 100% legal. There are certian spots to smoke, and for personal possession, you can only hold 1/4 of weed. As retailers, can only hold 500 grams.
But dont foget, the good ol munchies. What better then to eat massive amounts of food right after a nice joint. You can make tons of things out of weed. Majoon, space butter, chocolate fudge, Magic brownies, scooby snacks, hot chocolate, ice cream, pizza and even more! But if you dont wanna go through the trouble to make food that will make you even more high, then kick back and enjoy some of your favorite comfot food.
